On 20 September, EUBP marked 30 years and celebrated this milestone in Brussels with former and current Board and staff, members of the association, and EU officials.
The 30 year-anniversary was a great opportunity to reflect on our achievements and the impact we’re making in the bioplastics industry. From when we started back in 1993 in Rosenheim (Germany) until now, highlighting key milestones including the opening of our second office in Brussels this year, a total of 90 members, a new corporate identity and logo, amongst others.
During the celebration, Stefan Barot, EUBP’s Chair of the Board, presented our Material Management Concept, a reflection on how the bioplastics industry contributes to fulfilling the ambitions of the Green Deal.
