Kick-off of the BIOMAC-driven CEN Workshop Agreement to “Ultrasound-assisted production of lignin nanoparticles”
Dear Members,
Within the framework of the BIOMAC project, European Bioplastics has been supporting the partnership, which is counting some of the association members, such as NOVAMONT and AIMPLAS, in setting up a specific CEN workshop agreement (CWA) on this technical process for the production of lignin nanoparticles.
In early January, the workshop was announced on the CEN website.
The kick-off of the workshop will take place on 10 February 2025. The workshop marks the kick-off of the official procedure for drafting the pre-standard on this process, receiving comments from contributors to the workshop, going through a phase of open commenting and finally publishing the pre-standard. You can find a description of the procedural steps in this file.
If the process goes well, the publication will be finalized by the end of June 2025.
Chiara Bearzotti at European Bioplastics will chair this workshop in support of the partners of the BIOMAC project. The technical lead is with CNANO, with the contributions of Aristotle Univ. of Thessaloniki, AIMPLAS and Politecnico di Milano.
