Extraordinary Members Meetings on 5 and 25 November 2024, online

Save the dates!

Dear Members,

At our last General Assembly on 4 June 2024, you have mandated the Board to follow-up on the proposed restructuring process of the association with the aim of setting up an entity in Brussels operating as a non-for-profit association in the form of an AISBL under Belgian law. We were tasked to present to you a set of resolutions to be voted upon at our regular General Assembly on 12 December 2024.

In the meantime, we have made great progress in this matter. In order to keep up the momentum, we would like to convene two virtual Members meetings on 5 November 2024 and on 25 November 2024 before the actual General Assembly, both of them taking place from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM to also accommodate those of you joining from abroad.

At the first meeting on 5 November, we will present to you the selected option for the relocation of activities as well as the new governance (through a presentation given by EY law). Afterwards, we will send you a draft of the statutes governing the new association and ask you to provide us your questions and comments. At the second meeting on 25 November 2024, we will discuss your questions and comments, again with the support of EY law.

The aim of this exercise is to be able to provide you with the resolutions requesting your approval of the preferred option for the relocation of activities (i.e., including the incorporation of a new Belgian AISBL) as well as the Statutes of EUBP AISBL. As the adoption of these resolutions would trigger the necessity of also adapting the current Statutes of the German entity (EUBP e.V.), a resolution covering the necessary amendments will also be brought forward to you for your approval.

We kindly ask you to save the dates of 5 November 2024 and 25 November 2024, and we hope for a lively participation.

We will send you a link to the respective meeting in a separate email shortly before.

Kind regards,
Mariagiovanna Vetere and Franz Kraus
Co-chairpersons
