Opportunity to join the Advisory Board for EBC25

Dear Members, 

We are currently seeking up to 5 individuals who would be keen to join the Advisory Board for the EBC25. Members of this board will play a pivotal role in reading and evaluating all received abstracts, collaborating closely with the EUBP Team to curate a comprehensive and stimulating conference programme. 

Here are some key responsibilities of the Advisory Board members: 

• Defining topics for the programme
• Reviewing abstract submissions 
• Providing insightful feedback and ratings 
• Collaborating with the EUBP Team to ensure a diverse and impactful programme 
• Contributing to the overall direction and focus of the conference 

The timeline of the Advisory Board is as follows: 

• 15 March 2025: EBC25 Advisory Board complete 
• 17 - 21 March: First Advisory Board Meeting (online)
• 31 March 2025: Topics for EBC25 programme defined
  
• 15 July – 08 August 2025: Review all abstracts (normally about 100-150) and rating/grouping of topics. EUBP Team will send you their rating with all the abstracts by 15 July. 
• 11 - 15 August 2025:  Second Advisory Board meeting to discuss the abstracts 
• 25 - 29 August 2025: Third Advisory Board meeting: Discussion of first draft programme (written by EUBP Team) 
• 08 - 12 September 2025: Fourth Advisory Board meeting: Final discussion on programme 
• Before 30 September 2025: Publication of first programme  

By becoming a part of the Advisory Board, you will have a unique opportunity to shape the content of the EBC25. Your expertise and input will significantly contribute to building a programme that addresses the latest trends, challenges, and opportunities in the bioplastics sector. 

In order to ensure the neutrality of the Advisory Board, please only apply if your organisation is not planning to present this year. We aim to have a diverse board with representatives from Industry, Research, and Academia. In addition, we also plan to include one member of the board outside of the EUBP membership.
