The BIOPLASTICS-EU project would like to invite you to take part in a survey to explore what impact the current plastic industry may have on sustainability, and what opportunities can be explored in the future.
This study contributes to a larger project “BIO-PLASTICS Europe”, led by Professor Walter Leal (Project Coordinator) at HAW Hamburg, which seeks to develop and implement sustainability-based solutions for the production and use of biobased plastics. As part of this project, a Sustainability Framework for biobased projects will be developed, specifically tailored to help support the plastics industry of the future. As part of this work, the project is keen to collect input from experts across the plastics value chain (production – retail – use – disposal). As such, representatives from across the plastics industry are invited to participate in this survey on the alignment of the plastics industry with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.
The survey is designed to take only 15-20 minutes of your time (dependent on how much detail you are willing to provide). Your insights will be crucial in shaping a Sustainability Framework, and for creating broader recommendations for the future of the (biobased) plastics industry.
